A beautiful salad bowl by Carlton Ware in the Buttercup pattern in the yellow colourway which was introduced in 1936 until the 1940's. It has the number 1478 impressed on the base. It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, but has fine all over crazing which is typical of a piece of this age. This salad bowl displays exceptionally well.
