The embossed Water Lily range depicts a realistic water lily or part thereof. The first piece was introduced around 1937, but most of the pieces were made in 1939 onwards. The range was very popular and continued for a number of years.
Water Lily was produced in two colourways, yellow and green. The yellow background was usually decorated with a pink water lily and the green background generally was decorated with a yellow water lily. There seems to be some exceptions to this rule especially for the cruet sets, candesticks, tea pots, creamer, sugar bowl and the boxed sets. These appeared in the naturalistic or realistic shape of the water lily and often had green leaves and the petals of the flower in either yellow or pink.
