Carlton Ware Yellow Foxglove Tea Set

A beautiful vintage tea set for two, consisting of a teapot, two cups and saucers with a milk jug and sugar bowl by Carlton Ware in the Foxglove pattern in the yellow colourway which was first introduced in the early 1940's.  It has the number 1883 impressed on the base.

They are in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, but has minor crazing which is typical for pieces of this age.  Please note that all of these pieces are an exact colour match, although in some of the photos it would appear that they are different colours.  The colours are bright and vivid and this tea set displays brilliantly.

Dimensions - teapot - 12 cms high, 18 cms handle to spout - cups - 6½ cms high, 10 cms wide - saucers - 14 cms dia. - milk jug - 6½ cms high, 10½ cms handle to spout - sugar bowl - 5½ cms high, 8 cms dia. (measurements are approximate)
