Crown Devon Spider's Web Lustre Bowl

A beautiful bowl by Crown Devon in the Spider's Web pattern (2979), which was first introduced in the mid to late 1930's.  The backstamp on this particular piece was used between 1930 and 1965.

It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, and has no crazing which is unusual for a piece of this age.  There is wear to the gold trim on the handles of the bowl.  The lustre finish is in excellent condition and shows very little signs of wear.  This bowl displays exceptionally well and the colours are more vibrant than would seem in the photos, but lustre is extremely hard to photograph.
