A beautiful vintage cup and saucer (Henley shape) by Shelley in the Blue Daisy chintz pattern which was introduced during or after 1940. The backstamp on this particular piece was used between 1940 and 1966. They are in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, and has no crazing which is unusual for pieces of this age. There is very minor wear to the blue trim. Dimensions - cup - 6 cms high, 9¼ cms rim dia. - saucer - 14½ cms dia. (measurements are approximate) |
