Cup and saucer in the rouge colourway which was introduced in the 1940's. The backstamp for this particular piece dates it to 1951. It is in excellent condition, having no chips, cracks or stains, but has fine all over crazing which is typical for a piece of this age. The gold trim has minor wear. Dimensions - cup - 7 cms high, 9½ cms rim dia. - saucer - 14 cms dia. (measurements are approximate) |
