Royal Winton Hazel Chintz Octagonal Handled Bowl

A beautiful vintage octagonal shaped handled bowl by Royal Winton in the Hazel Chintz pattern which was first introduced around 1930.  The backstamp on this particular piece was used between 1930 and 1934.

It is in excellent condition having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains.  It has no crazing which is unusual for pieces of this age. There is minor wear to the gold trim.  The chintz pattern has also worn off the handles in places.  The colours are bright and vivid and this octagonal bowl displays brilliantly.

Dimensions - 14¼ cms handle to handle, 11¾ cms wide, 4¼ cms high (measurements are approximate)
