Crown Devon Kingfisher Lustre Bowl

A beautiful bowl by Crown Devon in the Kingfisher pattern, with the number A559 impressed on the base.  The backstamp on this particular piece was used between 1930 and 1965.

It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, and has no crazing which is unusual for a piece of this age.  The gold trim on the edge of the bowl is in excellent condition.  The lustre finish is in excellent condition and shows very little signs of wear.  This bowl displays exceptionally well and the colours are more vibrant than would seem in the photos, but lustre is extremely hard to photograph.
