Carlton Ware Green Rock Garden Jug

A beautiful jug by Carlton Ware in the Rock Garden pattern (also known as Garden Wall) in the green colourway which was introduced in 1934/35.  It has the under-glaze backstamp that was used by Carlton Ware before they introduced their "Registered Australian Design" which was introduced in 1935.  It has the numbers 1250 impressed on the base.

It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, and has no crazing, which is unusual for a piece of this age.  This jug displays exceptionally well.
