A beautiful vintage cruet set by Carlton Ware in the Foxglove pattern in the green colourway which was first introduced in the early 1940's. It has the number 1896 impressed on the base. It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, and has minor crazing which is typical for pieces of this age. The colours are bright and vivid and this cruet set displays brilliantly. Dimensions - tray - 12 cms x 11 cms - salt and pepper shakers - 5½ cms high, 4 cms dia. - mustard pot - 5½ cms high, 5 cms dia. (measurements are approximate)
