Carlton Ware Yellow Foxglove Large Ewer

A beautiful vintage large ewer by Carlton Ware in the Foxglove pattern in the yellow colourway which was first introduced in the early 1940's.  It has the number 1882 impressed on the base.

It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, but has minor crazing which is typical for a piece of this age.  The colours are bright and vivid and this ewer displays brilliantly.

Dimensions - 26½ cms high, 16 cms handle to spout (measurements are approximate)
