Carlton Ware Yellow Foxglove Jug

A beautiful vintage jug by Carlton Ware in the Foxglove pattern in the yellow colourway which was first introduced in the early 1940's.  It has the number 1885/1 impressed on the base.  This is the smallest of the three jugs made in this pattern.

It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, and has very little crazing (if any) which is unusual for a piece of this age.  The colours are bright and vivid and this jug displays brilliantly.
