Carlton Ware Pink Buttercup Sugar Bowl

A beautiful sugar bowl by Carlton Ware in the Buttercup pattern in the much rarer pink colourway which was introduced in 1936 until the 1940's.  It has the number 1522 impressed on the base.

It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, and has no crazing which is unusual for a piece of this age.  The pink colourway is bright and vivid and this sugar bowl displays exceptionally well.
