Carlton Ware Yellow Apple Blossom Jug (Double Handled)

A beautiful rare vintage double handled jug by Carlton Ware in the Apple Blossom pattern in the yellow colourway which was first introduced in 1937.  It has the number 1700/2 impressed on the base.  This is the middle size of the three sizes of double handled jugs made in this pattern.

It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, and has very minor crazing which is unusual for a piece of this age.  This jug is in pristine condition, the colours are bright and vivid and displays brilliantly.
