Carlton Ware Green Apple Blossom Pin Dish & Spoon (Boxed)

A beautiful vintage pin dish and spoon in the original box (which is not in very good condition) by Carlton Ware in the Apple Blossom pattern in the green colourway which was first introduced in 1937.  It has the number 1621 impressed to the base.

It is in excellent condition, having no chips, cracks or stains, but has minor crazing which is typical of a piece of this age.  The spoon has a glaze pop on the underside, which is typical for these spoons.  The colours are bright and vivid and this set displays exceptionally well.
