Beswick Leghorn Cockerel (1892)

A beautiful vintage Leghorn Cockerel by Beswick.  It is model number 1892 and is finished in a high gloss glaze.  It was designed by Arthur Gredington and was produced between 1963 and 1983.  These Beswick pieces are extremely collectable.

This Leghorn Cockerel is in excellent condition, having no chips, cracks, repairs or restorations.  I cannot see any crazing with the naked eye.  On the base it bears the imprint "Beswick - England" and it's model number (1892), together with the imprint "Leghorn".  The colours are bright and vivid and this Leghorn Cockerel displays brilliantly.
