Beswick Bullfinch (1042A - 1st Version)

A beautiful vintage Beswick Bullfinch model number 1042A, which is the first version on a yellow base with flowers.  It was designed by Arthur Gredington, introduced in 1945 and discontinued in 1973.  This Bullfinch is finished with a gloss glaze.

This Bullfinch is in excellent condition, having no chips, cracks, repairs or restorations.  It has very minor crazing.  It carries the standard Beswick England oval backstamp used during this period.  The colours are bright and vivid and this Bullfinch displays brilliantly.
