A beautiful vintage Giraffe (Small) by Beswick. It is model number 853 and is finished in a high gloss glaze. It was designed by Arthur Gredington and was produced between 1940 and 1975. It carries the standard "Beswick England" oval backstamp. These Beswick "Wild Animal" pieces are extremely collectable. This Giraffe is in excellent condition, having no chips, cracks, repairs or restorations. It has no crazing. The colours are bright and vivid and this Giraffe displays brilliantly.
