Royal Winton Lakeland Toast Rack (5 Bar)

A beautiful vintage hand-painted 5 bar toast rack by Royal Winton in the Lakeland pattern which was first introduced in the 1940's.  The backstamp for this particular piece dates it before 1945.

It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains.  It has crazing which is typical for a piece of this age.  There is one crazing line that is heavier than the others, but I do not believe this to be a hairline crack.  The colours are bright and vivid and this toast rack displays exceptionally well.
