Royal Winton Somerset Chintz Jug & Sugar Bowl

Jug and sugar bowl (ascot shape) in the somerset chintz which was first introduced about 1930, but the backstamp for this particular piece dates it pre-1950.

It is in excellent condition, having no chips, cracks or stains, and has no crazing which is unusual for a piece of this age.  There is minor wear to the trim.

Dimensions - jug - 7½ cms high, 8 cms wide, 13 cms handle to spout - sugar bowl - 10 cms x 10 cms, 5 cms high (measurements are approximate)
