H & K Tunstall Tuliptime Vase (Small)

A beautiful vintage hand-painted vase H & K Tunstall (Hollinshead & Kirkham) in the Tuliptime pattern.  This pattern is one of the "Delicious Dozen" patterns made, which was once known as the "poor man's Moorcroft".  The backstamp on this particular piece was used between 1932 and 1942. 

It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains.  There is very little (if any) crazing which is unusual for pieces of this age.  The colours are bright and clear and this vase displays brilliantly.  (Please excuse the white marks - these are only light reflections)

Dimensions - 11 cms high, 8 cms handle to handle, 7 cms dia. (measurements are approximate)
