H & K Tunstall Autumn Creamer & Sugar Bowl

A beautiful vintage hand-painted creamer and sugar bowl by H & K Tunstall (Hollinshead & Kirkham) in the Autumn pattern.  This pattern is one of the "Delicious Dozen" patterns made, which was once known as the "poor man's Moorcroft".  The backstamp on this particular piece was used between 1932 and 1942.

They are in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains.  There is minor crazing to the creamer only, which is typical for pieces of this age.  There is no crazing to the sugar bowl.  The colours are bright and clear and this set displays brilliantly.  (Please excuse the white marks - these are only light reflections)

Dimensions - creamer - 7½ cms high, 11 cms handle to spout, 7¼ cms wide - sugar bowl - 4½ cms high, 8¾ cms rim dia. (measurements are approximate)
