H & K Tunstall Autumn Cup & Saucer

A beautiful vintage hand-painted cup and saucer by H & K Tunstall (Hollinshead & Kirkham) in the Autumn pattern.  This pattern is one of the "Delicious Dozen" patterns made, which was once known as the "poor man's Moorcroft".  The backstamp on this particular piece was used between 1932 and 1942.

They are in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains.  They have no crazing, which is unusual for pieces of this age.  The colours are bright and clear and this cup and saucer display brilliantly.  (Please excuse the white marks - these are only light reflections)

Dimensions - cup - 6¾ cms high, 8¾ cms rim dia. - saucer - 14½ cms dia. (measurements are approximate)
