H & K Tunstall Anemone Bowl (Large)

A beautiful vintage hand-painted large bowl by H & K Tunstall (Hollinshead & Kirkham) in the Anemone pattern.  This pattern is one of the "Delicious Dozen" patterns made, which was once known as the "poor man's Moorcroft".  The backstamp on this particular piece was used between 1932 and 1942. 

It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains.  It has very little (if any) crazing which is unusual for a piece of this age.  There are a few points to mention.  There is a very small glaze pop which would have happened at the time of manufacture.  There are also a few marks on the bottom of the bowl from use.  There is also a small stain mark on the bottom of the bowl.  These points are very minor.  The colours are bright and clear and this bowl displays brilliantly.  (Please excuse the white marks - these are only light reflections)
