Crown Devon Pegasus Lustre Twin Handled Bowl

A beautiful twin handled bowl by Crown Devon in the Pegasus pattern (A576 impressed on the base), which was first introduced in the late 1940's or early 1950's.  The backstamp on this particular piece was used between 1930 and 1965.

It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, and has no crazing which is unusual for a piece of this age.  There is very minor wear to the gold trim on the edge of the bowl.  The lustre finish is in excellent condition and shows very little signs of wear.  This piece displays exceptionally well.  The colours are more vibrant than would seem in the photos, but lustre is extremely hard to photograph.
