Crown Devon Butterflies Lustre Vases (Pair)

A beautiful pair of jugs by Crown Devon in the Butterflies pattern (5178), which was first introduced in the early 1950's.  The backstamp on these particular pieces was used between 1930 and 1965.

They are in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, and have no crazing which is unusual for pieces of this age.  There is very minor wear to the gold trim on the rim of the vases.  The lustre finish is in excellent condition and shows very little signs of wear.  These vases display exceptionally well as a pair.  The colours are more vibrant than would seem in the photos, but lustre is extremely hard to photograph.
