Carlton Ware Yellow Water Lily Jug

Jug in the yellow colourway with pink flowers which was introduced around 1937 but most of the pieces were made in 1939 onwards.  The range was very popular and continued for a number of years.  The number 1788/3 is impressed on the base.  This is the smallest of the three jugs made.

It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, but has fine all over crazing which is typical for a piece of this age.

Dimensions - 10 cms high, 13½ cms handle to spout (measurements are approximate)
