Carlton Ware Yellow Water Lily Preserve Pot & Spoon

Preserve pot and spoon in the yellow colourway with pink flowers which was introduced around 1937 but most of the pieces were made in 1939 onwards.  The range was very popular and continued for a number of years.  The number 1801 is impressed on the base.

It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, but has fine all over crazing which is typical for a piece of this age.

Dimensions - preserve pot - 7½ cms high, 10 cms dia. - spoon - 12 cms long (measurements are approximate)
