Carlton Ware Green Water Lily Chocolate Mug

Chocolate mug in the green colourway with yellow flowers which was introduced around 1937 but most of the pieces were made in 1939 onwards.  The range was very popular and continued for a number of years.  The number 1787 is impressed on the base.

It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, but has minor crazing which is typical of a piece of this age.
