Carlton Ware Green Water Lily Sauce Boat & Tray

Sauce boat and tray in the green colourway which was introduced around 1937 but most of the pieces were made in 1939 onwards.  The range was very popular and continued for a number of years.  The number 1776 is impressed on the base.

It is in excellent condition, having no repairs chips, cracks or stains, but has minor crazing which is typical of a piece of this age.

Dimensions - sauce boat - 5½ cms high, 11½ cms handle to spout - tray - 11 cms dia. (measurements are approximate)
