Carlton Ware Peach Rock Garden Jug

A beautiful jug by Carlton Ware in the Rock Garden pattern (also known as Garden Wall) in the peach colourway which was introduced in 1934/35.  It has the under-glaze backstamp that was used by Carlton Ware before they introduced their "Registered Australian Design" which was introduced in 1935.  It has the numbers 1250 impressed on the base.

It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, but has minor crazing, which is typical for a piece of this age.  This jug displays exceptionally well.
