Carlton Ware Peach Rock Garden Flower Jug (Small)

A beautiful small flower jug by Carlton Ware in the Rock Garden pattern (also known as Garden Wall) in the peach colourway which was introduced in 1934/35.  It has the under-glaze backstamp that was used by Carlton Ware before they introduced their "Registered Australian Design" which was introduced in 1935.  It has the numbers 1238 impressed on the base.

It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, but has minor crazing, which is typical for a piece of this age.  This flower jug displays exceptionally well.
