Carlton Ware Greeen Apple Blossom Morning Set on Tray

A beautiful rare vintage morning set on tray or breakfast set by Carlton Ware in the Apple Blossom pattern in the green colourway which was first introduced in 1937.  It has the number 1720 impressed on the base.

It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, and only has crazing to the tray and teapot which is unusual for a piece of this age.  There is no crazing to any of the other pieces.  The only point to mention is a very small dent on the lid of the teapot, which is underglaze, and would have been done at the time of manufacture, but this in no way detracts from the beauty of this set.  The colours bright and crisp and all pieces match identically colourwise.  This set is in pristine condition and displays brilliantly.  These sets are very hard to find and in such condition is a real must for collectors!
