Carlton Ware Yellow Apple Blossom Jam Pot & Spoon (Boxed)

A beautiful boxed jam pot and spoon by Carlton Ware in the Apple Blossom pattern in the yellow colourway which was first introduced in 1937.  It has the number 1618 impressed on the base.

They are in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, but have fine all over  crazing which is typical for pieces of this age.  The colours are bright and vivid and this set displays exceptionally well.  It also comes with it's original box (which is slightly tatty).  This set is unusual to find in it's original box.
