A beautiful vintage set of 3 Beswick comical ducks. Model No: 919A (largest), B and C (smallest). Designed by Mr Watkin and produced between 1941 and 1971. They have the backstamp "England" stamped on their bases. All three ducks are in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips or cracks. The two larger ducks have very little (if any) crazing, which is unusual for pieces of this age. The smallest duck has minor crazing. The colours are bright and vivid and these comical ducks display brilliantly. Dimensions - largest duck (919A) - 5 cms x 3½ cms x 9½ cms high - middle duck (919B) - 6½ cms x 3½ cms x 6½ cms high - smallest duck (919C) - 5½ cms x 3 cms x 5½ cms high (measurements are approximate) |
