A beautiful vintage Gouldian Finch - Wings Out by Beswick. It is model number 1178 and is finished in a high gloss glaze. It was designed by Arthur Gredington and was produced between 1949 and 1959. It carries the earlier oval "Beswick England" backstamp together with it's name and model number, which is impressed. Beswick birds are becoming very collectable. This Gouldian Finch is in excellent condition, having no chips, cracks, repairs or restorations. It has no crazing. The colours are bright and vivid and this Gouldian Finch displays brilliantly.
