A beautiful vintage Jay by Beswick. It is model number 2417 and is finished in a high gloss glaze. It was designed by Graham Tongue and was produced between 1972 and 1982. It carries the "Beswick - Made In England" backstamp together with it's name and model number. Beswick birds are becoming very collectable. This Jay is in excellent condition, having no chips, cracks, repairs or restorations. It has no crazing. The colours are bright and vivid and this Jay displays brilliantly.
