Beswick Mallard Duck - Standing (756 - Set of 3)

A beautiful vintage set of three (3) Beswick standing Mallard Ducks.  These ducks were designed by Mr Watkin and were issued between 1939 and 1973.  The largest duck has the impressed number 756/1 on the base.  The middle sized duck has the impressed number 756/2 on the base and the smallest duck has the impressed number 756/2A on the base.  They all carry the usual Beswick impressions and backstamps.

All three ducks are in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips or cracks, but have minor crazing, which is typical for pieces of this age.  The colours are bright and vivid and these standing mallard ducks display brilliantly.

Dimensions - largest duck (756/1) - 15 cms tail to beak, 18 cms high - middle duck (756/2) - 12 cms tail to beak, 14 cms high - smallest duck (756/2A) - 9 cms tail to beak, 10½ cms high (measurements are approximate)
