A beautiful vintage Zebra by Beswick. It is model number 845B and is finished in a high gloss glaze. This is the second version which is white with black stripes. It was designed by Arthur Gredington and was produced between an unknown date and 1969. It carries the standard "Beswick England" circular backstamp. These Beswick "Wild Animal" pieces are extremely collectable. This Zebra is in excellent condition, having no chips, cracks, repairs or restorations. It has minor crazing. The colours are bright and vivid and this Zebra displays brilliantly. Dimensions - 18½ cms high (measurements are approximate) |
